Hi, and welcome to learning more about occupational therapy for your child. I’m Amaris Pedersen, a pediatric occupational therapist with 14 years of experience supporting children ages 2–18. I specialize in helping children who experience challenges with emotional regulation, sensory processing, attention, following directions, concentration, and impulsivity. My approach is family-centered, working closely with caregivers to understand what success looks like for your child and to create meaningful, individualized goals. I also provide in school occupational therapy to leverage the academic model right in their classrooms. I offer a free consultation to ensure a strong fit between your family and my services, followed by a comprehensive evaluation that can be shared with schools, partners who support their healthcare, daycare providers and remains valid for three years. From there, I provide flexible, one-hour weekly sessions designed to fit your schedule and budget while supporting your child’s growth and independence.

Occupational therapy services can be offered right within the school for groups of children needing OT who may not have an OT within their school. Please reach out for more information. This consists of group therapy, individual therapy, IEP's, evaluations, progress reporting and goal setting.
